Big Bang’s Taeyang will be coming out with [Where U At] after 1 year & 5 months since his last solo release.

Taeyang, who left a strong impression on audiences & critics alike with his first solo mini-album [HOT], with hit singles including “Look Only At Me” & “Prayer,” received recognition as the famous idol group, Big Bang’s lead singer, as well as a solo artist through his mini-album.

This Digital Single, “Where U At” was composed & written by Teddy, who brought sensation to the music industry with songs the songs he produced such as “Look Only At Me” & “Prayer” from last year, to this years’ “Lollipop,” 2NE1’s “Fire” & “I Don’t Care.”

The lyrics for “Where U At” were written in consideration of 22-year-old Taeyang, who has never had a girlfriend. The touchy story is reflective of Taeyang’s situation, imagining his future girlfriend who’s out there somewhere.

Much to expect from Taeyang as to what type of style & music he’s going to promote with his activities beginning with “Where U At” to his official album, so please take interest & give support.

빅뱅 태양 솔로컴백 불구 활동은 NO! 왜?

빅뱅 태양이 1년 5개월만에 솔로로 컴백한다.

태양은 15일 신곡 'Where u at'을 발표한다. 지난해 '나만 바라봐'와 '기도' 등이 담긴 첫 번째 솔로 미니앨범(HOT) 으로 평단과 대중 에게 강한 인상을 심어준 태양은 인기 아이돌 그룹 리드 싱어 라는 고정관념을 뛰어넘어 음악성과 대중성을 함께 인정 받는 뮤지션 이미지로 거듭났다.

실제로 지난해 태양은 각종 음악 차트와 방송 차트 1위를 모두 석권하였는가 하면 음악 평론가들이 주축이 된 대중음악상을 수상하기도 했다. 그 해 열린 첫 솔로 콘서트에서 성인들만 입장할 수 있는 콘서트를 개최하는 등 아이돌가수의 한계를 벗어나 기성세대들과 교감하려는 과감한 시도를 선보이기도 했다.

오는 15일에 공개되는 ‘Where u at’뮤직비디오에 함께 출연한 외국의 유명 댄서들 조차 “태양은 지금까지 자신들이 본 그 어떤 전문 댄서들보다 뛰어난 친구다. 노래하는 가수가 이 정도의 춤 실력을 갖추고 있다는 것 자체가 말이 안 되는 일”이라고 연일 칭찬을 아끼지 않았다고 한다.

‘Where u at’은 태양의 '나만 바라봐’와 ‘기도’를 시작으로 ‘롤리팝’과 2NE1의 ‘FIRE’‘아이 돈트 케어(I don’t care)’까지 발표하는 곡마다 가요계에 센세이션을 일으키고 있는 테디(Teddy)가 작사, 작곡한 곡으로서 다시 한 번 태양과의 환상적인 호흡을 선보이고 있어 기대를 모은다.

22살인 태양에게 아직까지 단 한번도 여자친구가 없었다는 점을 감안하여 작사한 ‘Where u at’가사는 세상 어디엔가 살고 있을 미래의 짝을 상상 하며 그리워하는 태양의 실제상황과도 같은 이야기라 더욱 가슴 와 닿는 곡이기도 하다.

태양의 솔로 컴백으로 빅뱅 멤버들간의 경쟁이 펼쳐질 전망이다. 지드래곤이 현재 첫 솔로 앨범으로 각종 차트를 석권한 상황이기 때문. 하지만 두 사람의 오프라인 상의 대결은 보기 힘들 전망이다.

YG엔터테이먼트측은 “오는 15일 발표되는 ‘Where u at’은 추후 발표될 태양 정규 앨범의 서막을 알리는 곡으로서 특별한 홍보활동이나 방송출연 계획이 전혀 없다”고 전한다.

그 이유는 태양의 두 번째 디지털 싱글곡 이자 정식 타이틀곡인 ‘웨딩드레스’ 가 오는 11월 초에 곧바로 발표될 예정이기 때문이다. 따라서 태양의 본격적인 활동 역시 11월 중 순부터 연말까지로 계획돼 있다.

11월초에 발표될 ‘웨딩드레스’는‘Where u at’뮤직비디오 후반부에 잠깐 소개되는 곡이기도 하다.

지난 8월 지드래곤 솔로 앨범에 이어 10월경 태양의 첫 번째 정규앨범이 발표될 것이라는 소문이 있었으나 두 차례에 걸쳐 디지털 싱글을 먼저 발표하는 태양의 행보가 궁금증을 자아 내고 있는데, 이는 YG엔터테인먼트의 심상치 않은 홍보 전략이 숨겨져 있는 듯 한 대목이다.

지난해 국내 남자 솔로 시장에 센세이션을 일으켰던 태양이 ‘Where u at’ 을 시작으로 1년5개월만에 선보이는 정규 앨범의 활동까지. 과연 태양이 이번에는 어떤 스타일과 어떤 음악으로 또 다른 감동을 전해 줄 것인지 많은 기대가 모아지고 있다.

Wandering off to Nextmusic, visiting my friend ivRoses' account and listened to many indie musicians.
I've been getting this hangover since I listened to Eri Takenaka's KASA mini-album, and it was just nostalgic. I remembered when I used to listen to Swinging Popsicle, Quinka with a Yawn and the likes, which kept me calm and mellow the whole day. But liking just a certain type of music per season can be really... deppressing! (Ah, too much BIGBANG is bad... maybe I'll stay like this until TaeYang's album comes out haha)

It's been raining mad lately, there's a storm coming up, but the workers are still in our house eager to do the work. We've come up with another style of packaging, and it's been really interesting. In that way, we could seal it easily; instead of having the delis in jars.

I'm glad we're having this brainstorming. I've had no breakfast this morning but I've already made three label studies. (We've decided to put them as tags) But now I feel I'm really hungryyyy.

I've promised Joshua I'll write a song for the anniversary, but nothing's come up lately and I'm letting it pass. I'm really sorry. I'm not the type who forces the words to come in, rather I wait for it simply. Haha. Anti-depress mode. Maybe this year is my *Passive* year. What do you think???

Tita Ellen asked me to make the invitations and designs for Keziah's 7th birthday. Thanks to the ever hyper "Event Coordi" Miko who'll be missing next sunday and I'll be well, might* take over her place. Oh! Here we go again!

I had fun with Dana's telling stories about her Texas-study. Although I feel she is happy to be here, I know there's always this *missing* part of living in another place, having your freedom, and getting to meet people of different culture. I know she misses her school, her camp, her friends *no matter how much she says about them* and everything else. I know that experience will probably never come again, but I know she's fine with the idea that "this is for the better," although she still has no car and has to commute on her way to school.

I thought yesterday's Gathering was going to be just "us, us." I was asking Oyet about that and maybe he's surprised I'm starting to ask him these questions. I'm glad for the insights he's shared and I'm happe that he's getting sensitive of the things around him. He's always insisting that Rose would be the next PW Lead, but I feel he could, because he's ready, because he's feeling things outwardly now.

And bout me, I now wonder why I'm always hesistating when I'm blessed with the chance to be lead? [Insert expression here] Hah! I should throw that part of me away now? Because really, I'm different from what I am really. Ah, again? You didn't udnerstand what I said right?

I was really blessed by last night's Gathering. They always say that Miko is always "loud" but for me, there's a reason for those repetitions and the message just sinks in to you. And it's because she's praying for something / someone hard too! And for the first time, our deaconess gets to talk! I mean, Ate Grace would always find some way to relate to the youth. It was, "para bang sinesermonan nya talaga kami." I'm glad Aiza was there, or else I'll totally feel awkward that i'm the ONLY MYAF there. And then Bambi came. When I looked at the back I'm glad my parents were there, so I don't have to communte home by myself. Oh, speaking of the girls, They have their boyfriends with them. Clarissa earlier asked my why I don't have a boyfriend myself, and when Joy answered, "she never had any." I actually  am a self-declared NBSB,  something I'm totally proud of, but coming to my age as Dara's makes me go like, "Why nga ba?"

I'm not hurrying. Business first. And that'll come.
(Like, buying a ticket to Big Bang Concert, then kidnap Taeyang. Or TOP. But anyone would totally be OK.)

Hey, hey, Moe, wait!! Why is that? But, if you really leave happily, then that's okay with me. If you choose that it's time for you to focus on something else, I'm alright with that. I just don't want you to leave because of someone or something you can't get along with. I know what's currently happening is totally UPSETTING. But let's still go "FIGHTING!" right? Because I trust in your generation.

Speaking of YB, have you heard he' releasing a full album sometime this year? (Fall, maybe?) Oh my goodness. That HOT album of his was totally HOT! (flaming red~♪) But, of course, I love dorky YB than his shirt ripping stage persona. Ahhh, his voice just makes me swoon.

When is My Heaven coming out? Is it the same time as 2NE1's release? I can't wait... (even if there's only one new song included on the special edition) Kkkk. I'm sure their promotions in Japan will be a blast.

I can still hear the cat crying until now. :-(
