THE ONE

(Screams like a crazy fangirl I am~)

I ♥ this song.
I wasn't aware that they've been doing Japanese promotions still... haven't seen them much lately!
It's got the same fuzzy-lve feeling as Always be mine, yet more upbeat and happy. Their English has improved, and it's wonderful to hear all of them sing! Now I can know who's who~ [EDIT: I had to watch this again and again because I can't get over it~ ^^;]

Jonghoon's got a really good voice, he should sing more often! I love the PV, the boys look themselves... young happy and DORKY!  Wonbin's got that nasal-y voice again... How I smiled when I heard Minhwannie's voice. It sounds better than Wonbin's (no offense, Wonbin IS my top FTi) !!! Jaejin's voice is my FAVORITE... so smooth and cool. Honggi's voice never fails, as always, the best. He's getting to look more of a man now...more of an emo... I miss his old hairstlye! Check out his new photoshoot for a clothing brand:

It's the same thing that happened to FT Island this year.
FT Island went to Japan at the hype of their career to study Japanese as well as to release music. Lost in the Kpop industry for a while, for me their comeback was hardly noticeable. Ok, I'm harsh. Let me rephrase that. Their comeback did not have so much impact. But that was just me. However, it seems like YG is also planning US debut for them boys (just like Se7en's). YG states that they will "study new moves" and "english language" while in the US.

Ah... just as when I'm starting to really like them. (=○=)

But don't be sad... GD is planning to release his solo album next year's spring. It's also one of the reasons why the group is going to America (to help Kwon Leader for this project)

Another fact about GD, he and Doraemon (Daesung) has been selected by GyeongHee University Arts Design School’s to attend their Post-Modern Music. FT Island fans, isn't it happy to know that Lee Hong Gi will be going along with them? That sure will be a lot of fun because Honggi had admitted that Daesung was his favorite idol!

We all gotta wait, for this news will be confirmed at the 20th of November.

Heaven & Loving you are new songs for me. I don't think they're included in Colorful Sensibility. Are they?
 

Heaven starts off as another typical FT Island MV-- the one which includes a love triangle. However, this one focuses not on the love story but on a game. A man discovers Honggi's skill and asked to train him, but the boy, who was too much focused on the girl he liked (but unfortunately doesn't retunr his feelings) didn't pay attention. Later he learns that she likes someone else--Jonghun, his friend. But then after the girl's accident accedent, Honggi finally accepted along with his band mates and they're set out for a game that will change their lives.

Another thing that's first? This time, Honggi didn't get the girl
 

Loving you is another rock ballad song. Well, this time a cute love story is formed with Jaejin and the girl's nuna, who owns the shop. (Aww Jaejin is SO cute)  However, when the girl gets to be kidnapped, Jaejin risks his life alone to save her from a brutal criminal. 

It was a really sad ending. Lesson? When some taxi drivers asks you to give a push, don't leave your girlfriends in the car!

Carisu Says: FT Island had grown up, so far. We could see that Wonbin had his hair REALLY long and Jaejin's one sided does fit him (after a long stare). The only thing that bothers me is Jonghun's curly hair... he really looks like a pretty girl. Honggi looks manly now. I loved Wonbin's mouthcover, hadn't I said that before? Hehe. Oh, I didn't see Minhwan that much!

Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. I read that it was supposed to be *rockish* and *energetic.* By Honggi's smirk, I was hoping for a Troublemaker or Train (or something as bouncy) but that didn't turn out to be. Anyways, both are interesting PVs. I especially loved Jaejin's because he was the one who didn't get a role in their Cheerful Sensibility MV series.

Overall, a good new release, loved the songs as usual-- Honggi never fails me. I just hoped for a more livelier MV, because after all, they're still boys! :-)

After the promotion for After Love comes this rebel-like basketball punk war MV called Last Attack. It will be released on Oct. 15. Yes, this means another round of promotion, this time, changing their preppy, schoolboy images to something more... dangerous!

Anyways, the MV preview looks interesting. Haha! I love Wonbin's mouthcover! *reminds me of TOP's* (dies~ ahhhh Wonbin~!!!!!)

Carisu says: Wow! Anothere release! DIdn't we missed them already? It's been a long time and I felt that Sarang Hu Ae wasn't promoted much but here they are, ready for another attack! The boys look totally awesome! It's refreshing to see them all rugged and in dirt, not in ballads--they're boys after all!!!! ♥

Honggi smile means something. Oh, yeah. I think I heard he's been casted in a role for an upcoming SBS drama, Master of Study. Why do I get the feeling he's the student type who always gets into trouble?

The three of them (Hong-Jong-Jae) goofing around the studio was love! Honggi's vocals is just amazing.

I don't know why WB was out, but they say he was sick.
I hope he's feeling better now. :-)

Meanwhile, just recently, FT Island did Seo Taiji's 울트라맨이야 (Ultramania) on MNet Countdown.

I'm glad FT Island is getting their popularity back in Korea (but not as muchas they left it, still many Pris love them). I mean, even as now, many boybands are sprouting out of nowhere and are gaining attention too! But Ft is Ft, and I hope to hear more from them soon... like... some big show?

Keeping fingers crossed. FT Island fighting!!!

The Say No No No SBS 500th Episode special finally done!
This stars Dr. TOP, Smoking GD, Nurse Seungri, and patiens Youngbae and Daesung. TOP looked terribly dorky dancing on this one (well, he looked dorky dancing because he always seem awkward), but then again if he was a doctor, his patients will always be patients because
              1. You'd wanna be sick all day because you want to be near him and
              2. He's too much of a dork he needs to cure himself first.
(Kidding TOP lovers, I love him too you know)
Ooooh, I wish he is my doctor!

Too bad Daedae didn't get any big roles on this CF... because these days he's been really starting to look pretty good.

And the other Seung Hyun, magnae! The Wonderboy! Haha, he's so cute. The boys are really~ well, wonderful.
