Jaejin and Seunghyun some kinda sound alike.
Honestly, I don't like much ballads from them. But I must admit their ballads are really, really good.
Honggi's voice is just pure and raw, sounds very refreshing from the pop-tunes that is popular nowadays.
Did I hear some synth in Lies?
Anyways, I'm looking forward to Honggi's character in You're Beautiful.
It's such a fun show to watch, isn't it?
Ah, even with his blonde hair Honggi is still... absurd but cute.
So, we all know that girl groups are a trend nowadays, and they're taking over KPOP by storm.
I mean, agencies won't stop releasing girl bands every now and then.
Too bad the real talents doesn't have a chance to shine because of the trends. :(
But I seem to like this one girl group though--they just debuted--
SECRET.
That's their name. Their first music was very 2NE1-ish → I want you back.
Hah. Anyways, Dara's brother is in MBLAQ (Jtunes) and they will debut this October.
Along with Shinee's release
And Taeyang's as well.
Not to mention the Launch of B2ST, which includes ex-BIGBANG member So-1.
And Child of Empire is another Super Junior kind of group.
October is a full-launch show.
And there are many things to watch out for.

I actually do NOT know the release date of FT Island's Cross & Change Album.
I was sorta wondering why Honggi's hair is... well, red.
And why everyone looks.... alike. I don't like Jaejin's hair.
Ah, but I'm happy to hear their new music!
And I even found stuff that I really liked!
Cross & Change is a refreshing break from FT Island's usual releases -- strong rock ballad. It's a total change, with laid back, pop-rock tunes. So cheerful! This is one of my favorite tracks, Hope, but I took the version 2 because I think Seung Hyung's rapping is better in this one. The album even includes a track from Jaejin's drama, SONAGI! As it turns out, I like the album. Especially the happy sounding ones!
TV Radio is a happy, uptempo pop song which I label → boyish fun. It's something nice to listen to when you're really bouncy and up for the beach or just something crazy (hehe) Well, it sometimes gets too repetitive for me but I like the poppiness of it.
Moonlight Angel is a ballad, and in spite of being released in Japan, it is in Korean. I LOVE THIS SONG. It is beautifully touching-- especially when they sing at the end. I love how surprising the chorus is, it's really refreshing to hear some soothing yet emotional ballad from them.
Overall, I love that they made three entirely feel yet keeping their own flavor in it. I also like the fact that I've heard most of the members singing now... they're really good! (I just miss WB~) I like this album, somehow better than The One. Please do try it out :D
JUMP UP [EP] is FT Island's first Mini Album for 2009. It's also the start of their new member Song Seung Hyun as guitarist and vocalist. Even with the departure of their former membert, they still retain that same FT Island style-- emotional rock ballads. Two major comments about this album. 1.) Most of the music featured here is mid-tempo and 2.) Song Seung Hyun's parts are actually good.
Now let's begin our review.

01 나쁜 여자야
Nappeun Yeoja Ya, or Bad lady, is their main track for this album. The song starts witha melancholic piano, accompanied with strings and Honggi's soft vocals. As the verse ends, it turns into a powerful chorus and making the lyrical pain heartfelt. It makes me feel that Honggi is weeping all throughout the chorus. It's my first time to hear him sing this style, and even though I dislike sad songs, listening to him sing is such a treat. One thing however, I think it could've been better without the break... it seems awkward. But then again, it's a great song to start off. Noted on that, FT Island albums always start off with a sad rock power ballad.
02 인형처럼
Inhyeong Cheoreom is soft pop, with gentle vocals, and minimal music. Unfortunately, as lighthearted as this song is, I find it rather bland. But it's still great to hear Jaejin sing to that gives it a plus!
03 마법
Mabap is a pop-rock track which (at last) features upbeat vocals. The whole song is a great listen, especially the chorus. Jaejin's voice, I think, is also featured here. Another treat, Seung Hyun's rapping part which makes the song irresistibly fun. I wish FT Island would make more happier stuff!
04 Missing You
Missing you is another emotional ballad that starts off with powerful string accompaniment similar to Colorful Sensibility 2's Heaven. Honggi's wide ranged vocals is of full use, while the instrumental part intensifies the whole song. This is where I thought there's gonna be a rap part but there was none. Even so, it is an amazing
05 그대와 나
You and I is a lighthearted ballad, but I took a liking on it. A sweet love song with laid back vocals and acoustics, it gives off a gentle feel, especially in the chorus. Did Jonghoon sing on this? I find Jaejin's voice too!
06 어쩌란 말이야
Eojjeran Maliya is the third power ballad, however, this thrives mainly on the rock side. Honggi's powerful voice and the guitars made this a good listen while Seung Hyun gives off that familiar *scolding rap* which is a true FT Island flavor.
Another comment: I miss Won Bin!
Overall, it's a good album, nonetheless. I enjoy anything from them! Seung Hyun proved he's got talent and right to be with the band, and I wish Binnie all the good luck in the Kpop world. I've stated my opinions about this album, but these are MY opinions only, hehe. Have a listen to them, will you?

FT Island member Oh WonBin(19) has left the group on the grounds of reason that he has differing music views as the group.
FT Island’s company said on 28th January, “WonBin, who played the guitar on the team, has left the team. It was a hard decision for WonBin too.”
Meanwhile, FT Island will look for a new member and they will release a new minia-lbum in mid-February.

FT Island - Instead of Oh Wonbin, Song Seunghyun
FT Island five member idol band has been rearranged. The quitting member Oh Won Bin (19)'s empty spot will be filled by Song Seunghyun (18).
Song Seunghyun at 180cm, weighing 60kg's has a tall and slim figure. He will be doing guitar and vocal, and be given the role of doing rap.
F&C Music on the 29th stated that "Considering that FT Island is a teenage boyband, a talented trainee with a fresh new image, Song Seunghyun has been selected."
A mini album has been announced for FT island around the middle of February, and they will resume activities then.
Meanwhile, Guitarist Oh Wonbin who showed a difference in opinion of music, after consulting the agency, voluntarily withdrawed.
Carisu Says: OH NO! I never expected this~ i I mean, the boys look happy together when they debuted. What could be the reason of Oh Won Bin Leaving? Such a big blow! Still not clear... Anyways, it's not that I'm an anti-new FTi member SeungHyun (he's got the same name as TOP by the way) it's just that...FT Island without Won Bin isn't FT Island anymore... even if he's the least exposed (what an introvert he is then) I still believe he's got talent. And no matter how great SeungHyun is, WonBin still would be different. TT

I ♥ this song.
I wasn't aware that they've been doing Japanese promotions still... haven't seen them much lately!
It's got the same fuzzy-lve feeling as Always be mine, yet more upbeat and happy. Their English has improved, and it's wonderful to hear all of them sing! Now I can know who's who~ [EDIT: I had to watch this again and again because I can't get over it~ ^^;]
Jonghoon's got a really good voice, he should sing more often! I love the PV, the boys look themselves... young happy and DORKY! Wonbin's got that nasal-y voice again... How I smiled when I heard Minhwannie's voice. It sounds better than Wonbin's (no offense, Wonbin IS my top FTi) !!! Jaejin's voice is my FAVORITE... so smooth and cool. Honggi's voice never fails, as always, the best. He's getting to look more of a man now...more of an emo... I miss his old hairstlye! Check out his new photoshoot for a clothing brand:

It's the same thing that happened to FT Island this year.
FT Island went to Japan at the hype of their career to study Japanese as well as to release music. Lost in the Kpop industry for a while, for me their comeback was hardly noticeable. Ok, I'm harsh. Let me rephrase that. Their comeback did not have so much impact. But that was just me. However, it seems like YG is also planning US debut for them boys (just like Se7en's). YG states that they will "study new moves" and "english language" while in the US.
Ah... just as when I'm starting to really like them. (=○=)
But don't be sad... GD is planning to release his solo album next year's spring. It's also one of the reasons why the group is going to America (to help Kwon Leader for this project)
Another fact about GD, he and Doraemon (Daesung) has been selected by GyeongHee University Arts Design School’s to attend their Post-Modern Music. FT Island fans, isn't it happy to know that Lee Hong Gi will be going along with them? That sure will be a lot of fun because Honggi had admitted that Daesung was his favorite idol!
We all gotta wait, for this news will be confirmed at the 20th of November.
